“Private Autopsy Raises Questions About Official Cause of Death”

The family of Suchir Balaji, a 26-year-old whistleblower from OpenAI who sadly died just a month after his significant exposé appeared in the New York Times, is now raising concerns about the official explanation for his death. They suspect that he may have been the victim of foul play.

A post on X (formerly Twitter) from someone claiming to be Balaji’s mother, Poornima Ramarao, reveals that a private investigator’s discoveries have cast doubt on the conclusion that he took his own life. Ramarao tweeted, “We engaged a private investigator and opted for a secondary autopsy to clarify the real cause of death. The private autopsy did not corroborate the police’s assertions regarding the cause of death.”

Ramarao further noted that Balaji’s apartment was found in a chaotic state, with indications of a struggle in the bathroom and bloodstains that suggest possible violence. She has hinted at a potential cover-up involving the city of San Francisco, which she believes might be concealing what she describes as a “cold-blooded” murder.

In her quest for answers, Ramarao has called for an FBI investigation and reached out to notable figures, including Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, and California Governor Gavin Newsom. Notably, Musk responded, expressing skepticism about the suicide narrative, which has added to the family’s growing suspicions.

Since Balaji’s untimely passing, Ramarao has been actively sharing her son’s story online and engaging with the media in her search for clarity. However, her plight has not attracted significant attention within the United States.

During a recent discussion with Business Insider, Ramarao opened up about her son’s life, his enthusiasm for mathematics and artificial intelligence, his departure from OpenAI, and the heart-wrenching challenges she has faced in seeking the truth about his demise.

It is evident that Ramarao is driven by a desire for justice for her son, without assigning blame to any particular person or organization. Her primary goal is to uncover the truth and find closure for her family. This poignant narrative underscores the critical need for justice and answers amidst the pain of loss.
