On October 16, 2018, during an Operation IceBridge mission over the northern Antarctic Peninsula, the crew on board was treated to a remarkable sight. They spotted a rectangular iceberg, a rarity in the icy expanse, alongside a more traditionally shaped sharp-cornered berg. In the distance, the enormous tabular iceberg A68 could also be seen.
